Yoga is more than the asana, or posture-based, practice that we see commonly online — and it’s not the only place to start. North PNW Yoga values the 8 Limb Path shared by Patanajali:
Yama - how we relate to the world
Niyama - how we relate to our Self
Asana - physical yoga postures
Pranayama - awareness and use of the breath
Pratyahara - withdrawal of the senses
Dharana - concentration
Dhyana - meditation
Samadhi - deepest meditation, or total absorption
