In the spirit of Yoga’s history, North PNW Yoga is a home for storytelling and community building.

Advances in technology and generative AI are guiding us to a moment where we have choice:

  • What do you value?

  • Where do you go?

  • How do you spend your time?

Yoga can be an opportunity for you to explore your connection to Self through the coming together of mind, body, breath, spirit, and light.

The communities that gather around these practices are valuable containers for discussing how this is unfolding for you. Come for the workout (or work-in), stay for the connection.

North PNW Yoga brings together the best in our area so that you can easily find opportunities to deepen your practice.

Yoga is more than the asana, or posture-based, practice that we see commonly online — and it’s not the only place to start. North PNW Yoga values the 8 Limb Path shared by Patanajali:

  1. Yama - how we relate to the world

  2. Niyama - how we relate to our Self

  3. Asana - physical yoga postures

  4. Pranayama - awareness and use of the breath

  5. Pratyahara - withdrawal of the senses

  6. Dharana - concentration

  7. Dhyana - meditation

  8. Samadhi - deepest meditation, or total absorption
