Location: 104 East Stanley Street, Granite Falls, WA

Parking/closest public transportation?

Street parking all around, parking lot in the back.

What was the inspiration behind the studio?

My kidney shut down when I was a teenager. The healing path brought me to yoga. When I was 18 I had the dream placed on my heart to open a studio. When I was 27 a space opened up and it all fell into alignment.

Do you have a mission at your studio?

We believe by consistently practicing Yoga, you will positively impact both your physical and mental health. Our desire is to provide a healthy option to the community through Yoga.

What style of yoga classes are taught at your studio?

All styles. Weekly we have gentle flow, yin, hatha, flow, vinyasa, sculpt, fusion, kundalini. Monthly we have workshops which draw in anything from buti, somatic breath work, reiki, ladies nights, and retreats. The first Sunday of each month Shawn hosts a Sound bath. We have yoga teacher trainings where we walk students deeper into their yoga practice.

Do you offer meditation classes?

Each class has a meditation aspect. Meditation can be movement, it can be guided, it can be anything that holds you in the present moment. Your brain naturally cycles through meditative states throughout the day. Our goal is to help you train yourself to connect into this state and so you can stay there longer.

Do you have a teacher training program at your studio? If so, tell us a little bit about the training.

We offer a 200 hour hatha, flow, and vinyasa training. This teaches you the basics and allows you to dive into the 8 limb path, chakras, anatomy alignment, assisting, creating classes. Once a year we host a 300 hr fusion flow, advanced vinyasa, & Nidra training. In that one we go deeper into the 196 sutras, kundalini, nidra, advanced postures, endocrine system, how the brain functions, and the meridians. We hold private trainings that go over sculpt, kids yoga, and aspects teachers want to grow in. In our trainings, you get sessions with Chelsea that include reiki, EDMR, somatic work, and regression therapy. We focus on creating a well rounded training. Not only do we want you to be able to teach a modern yoga class. We want you to be in tune, equipped to hold space, and feel safe in your mind and body.

Do you offer special events or workshops?

YES Monthly, follow us to see what is coming up!

What kind of students would resonate with your studio?

Anyone looking for an inviting space to take care of themselves and connect with others.

What is your favorite quote?

The moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too.
— J.W. Goethe
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
— Marianne Williamson
